Aluminium and UPVC Windows and Doors Hampshire

Casement Windows - Aluminium and UPVC, Made at Our Hampshire Workshop

A versatile window solution for both traditional and modern homes, expertly crafted to deliver style, durability and everyday practicality.

Casement windows are the most widely installed window type in the UK, and it is easy to understand why. They are versatile, practical and suit almost every property type and style – from a contemporary new build to a Victorian terrace. When they are made well and fitted correctly, they are simply good windows that do their job without drawing attention to themselves.

At Fletcher Fabrications, we fabricate casement windows in both aluminium and UPVC at our Aldershot workshop. Every window is made to the exact dimensions of your opening, finished in your chosen colour or foil, and installed by our own team. We have been doing this since 1985, and we know how to get it right.

Aluminium and UPVC

We work in both materials, so you get the right product for your home and budget - not the one that suits us best to sell.

40 years of experience

We have been manufacturing and installing glazing since 1985. That experience is reflected in everything we produce.

Aluminium casement windows

Our aluminium casement windows are fabricated using thermally broken profiles, which means an insulating barrier within the frame prevents heat from conducting through the aluminium. This eliminates the cold frames and condensation associated with older aluminium products and produces a window that performs as well as or better than most UPVC alternatives.

Aluminium casements achieve U-values well below the current building regulation requirement of 1.4 W/m2K. Our standard high-performance double-glazed units with warm-edge spacer bars typically achieve a centre-pane U-value of around 1.0 W/m2K. Triple glazing is available for projects with higher thermal demands.

The slim profiles of aluminium casements mean more glass and less frame in the opening – a visually cleaner result that is particularly valuable in larger window compositions and on contemporary properties. Available in any RAL or BS colour, including dual-colour finishes with different inside and outside faces.

UPVC casement windows

Our UPVC casement windows are fabricated using multi-chamber profiles that provide excellent thermal performance without the need for a separate thermal break. High-quality UPVC casements consistently achieve A-rated energy performance and are among the most thermally efficient windows available at any price point.

UPVC casements require virtually no maintenance – the frames do not need painting or treating – and the material is highly resistant to moisture, UV fading and salt air corrosion, making it well suited to the full range of UK residential environments. Available in white as standard, with cream, grey, anthracite grey, black and a selection of wood-effect foils also available.

For straightforward window replacements on standard residential properties where thermal performance, low maintenance and value for money are the priorities, UPVC casements represent an excellent choice.

Which material should I choose?

Aluminium is generally the better choice for homes where slim sightlines and a premium aesthetic matter, for large window compositions, for listed buildings or conservation areas requiring heritage-profile systems, and for projects with a strong design focus.

UPVC is generally the better choice for standard residential window replacements where excellent thermal performance, low maintenance and competitive cost are the priorities, and where the narrower colour range and slightly thicker profiles are not a concern.

We are always happy to talk through both options and give you our honest recommendation for your specific project.
