Aluminium bi-fold doors

Aluminium is the premium choice for bi-fold doors and for good reason. The rigidity of aluminium means large panels – often 900mm to 1200mm wide per leaf – track and fold smoothly every day for years without developing play in the hinges or running gear. UPVC, being less dimensionally stable, can develop movement over time as it responds to temperature changes. Aluminium does not have this problem.

The slim profiles of aluminium also mean more glass per panel – a meaningful visual difference that produces a cleaner, lighter result. Available in any RAL or BS colour, including dual-colour finishes with different inside and outside faces.

UPVC bi-fold doors

UPVC bi-fold doors offer good thermal performance and a lower cost of entry. They are a practical choice for smaller openings – typically up to three or four panels – where the dimensional advantages of aluminium are less critical, and where budget is an important consideration.

Our UPVC bi-fold doors are fabricated with steel-reinforced profiles and multi-point locking systems. Available in white, cream, grey, anthracite grey and black, with wood-effect foil finishes also available.
