Aluminium and UPVC Windows and Doors Hampshire

Bay Windows - Aluminium and UPVC Bay Windows Made in Hampshire

Designed and fabricated to your exact specifications, our bay windows combine traditional character with modern energy efficiency, security and performance.

A bay window adds space, light and architectural character to a room in a way that a flat wall of glass simply cannot. The angled projection brings in light from multiple directions, creates a natural focal point in the room, and – on period properties in particular – restores or maintains a feature that is integral to the character of the building.

At Fletcher Fabrications, we fabricate bay windows in both aluminium and UPVC at our Aldershot workshop. We manufacture the bay frame and all the sashes in-house, sized to your exact opening and specification. Every bay we install is fitted by our own team.

Precision-Manufactured Windows, Doors & Glazing for Every Home

From design and fabrication to expert installation, every product is manufactured in our Aldershot workshop by our experienced in-house team.

Tailored to your property and built to the highest standards, our windows, doors and glazing solutions deliver exceptional quality, performance and a perfect fit.

We make what we install

Every frame is fabricated at our Aldershot workshop - not sourced from a third party. Made here, by us.

Our own installation team

We employ the people who fit your windows and doors. One point of contact, one standard of care, from survey to sign-off.

Aluminium and UPVC

We work in both materials, so you get the right product for your home and budget - not the one that suits us best to sell.

40 years of experience

We have been manufacturing and installing glazing since 1985. That experience is reflected in everything we produce.

Bay window configurations

Most bay windows are built in one of three configurations, though we can produce custom angles to suit specific openings.

Square bay (box bay)

Three panels set at 90 degrees – a flat front with two perpendicular returns. Creates the maximum internal space and suits both period and contemporary properties.

Angled bay

The most common residential bay configuration, with a central flat panel and two angled side panels. Available in standard angles of 25, 30, 35 and 45 degrees, or to any custom angle. The 30-degree bay is the most widely used on Victorian and Edwardian properties.

Bow window

A curved arrangement of four or more narrow panels, creating a gentle arc. More associated with Regency and Victorian properties than with modern builds. We fabricate bow windows to order in both aluminium and UPVC.

Aluminium bay windows

Our aluminium bay windows are fabricated using thermally broken profiles, giving excellent thermal performance alongside the slim sightlines that suit both contemporary and heritage properties. The bay frame and all sashes are manufactured in-house and powder-coated in your chosen colour.

For period properties where the original bay is a significant architectural feature, aluminium provides the slim profiles needed to replicate the character of the original glazing while delivering the thermal performance that modern homeowners expect. Available in any RAL or BS colour, including dual-colour finishes.

UPVC bay windows

Our UPVC bay windows offer excellent thermal performance and a wide range of finish options at a competitive cost. The bay frame is fabricated in-house in white as standard, with foil finishes available in cream, grey, anthracite grey, black and a range of wood-effect options.

UPVC bays are particularly popular for post-war and 1960s and 1970s properties where the original bays are in UPVC or where a practical, low-maintenance replacement is the priority.
